There has become a job that explains in detail the conflicts of a government employee who faces exhaustion, mismanagement and suspended virus, as a wave of responses from people through the sectors related to the story. Entitled “fatigue and stress forced me to think about leaving my government job”, this publication sparked a broader conversation on the culture of toxic work in the safe public sector roles.

Published by the user CantainionOn4078, the detailed account specifies a contract of service in a government administration where the leadership is described as “very incompetent”, with an official officer “who lacks vision and constantly changing its decisions, and is a poor leader.” Redditor writes that the unit suffers from chronic employee deficiency, delayed resources, and permanent educated employees.

“Although these problems are raised, we blame” weak management “instead of support,” the user shared. “Even after a decade of service, I am accused of lacking basic administrative skills.”

The writer says they deal with the operations of three different sections – two require physical work – in addition to the responsibilities in training, purchases, bills and accounts. Despite this work burden, there is no even word. ”Instead, the user says, they are punished for efficiency.

“I tend to finish the tasks depicted immediately … which unfortunately made me the person who will get additional work.”

The post also regrets the lack of consequences for those who suffer from poor performance, and they re -tell the failed attempts to solve things internally: “Attempts to discuss this matter have failed friendly, and I had many hot arguments with my superiors.”

More worrying is the effect on mental health. The user said: “I was working significantly, waking up at night worried about work, lost sleep, energy and attention to the things I used to enjoy,” admitting that they are now only in the job for its stability and hope for a long promotion.

Reactions to the post reflect a mixture of sympathy, pragmatism and resignation, especially from those in the system. “The companies are worse. At least you can leave at 5:30 pm,” one of the users wrote. “We work until 12 am and face the same things. You have functional security.”
