Ukrainian President Foludmir Zelinski rejected the expected summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, warning that any peace deal except Kiev will lead to “dead decisions.”

Zelenskyy made comments in a statement posted on Telegram on Saturday, a day after Trump said The summit will be held on August 15 in Alaska And he intends to discuss ending the war of Russia, Ukraine.

Trump had previously agreed to the vision of Putin even if the Russian leader did not meet with Zelinski, raising fears that Ukraine could be marginalized in efforts to stop the war.

Zelinski said that Ukraine “will not give Russia any awards for what it did” and “the Ukrainians will not give their lands to the occupier.”

By ways to the Ukrainian anxiety that can lead the direct meeting between Putin and Trump to marginalize Kiev and European interests, the President of Ukraine said: “Any decisions without Ukraine are at the same time decisions against peace. They will not bring anything. These are dead decisions. It will never work.”

The former Ukrainian officials told the Associated Press that Kiev would be capable of a peace deal that would recognize the reality of Ukraine’s inability to regain the lands missing militarily.

In a statement posted on Kremlin’s News, Putin’s Foreign Affairs Adviser, Yuri Ushakov, indicated to the next summit.

“It seems completely logical that our delegation is simply flying through the Bering Strait, and this is an important and expected summit for the leaders of the two countries in Alaska,” Ushakov said.

Such a meeting may prove a pivotal war that started more than three years ago when Russia invaded its western neighbor and led to tens of thousands of deaths. However, Moscow and Kiev are still far from the conditions of peace.

In comments on correspondents at the White House before his position, which confirms the history and place of the summit, Trump suggested that any agreement is likely to include “some land exchange”, but he did not provide any details.

Analysts, including some closeness to the Kremlin, suggested that Russia could offer to abandon the lands it controls outside the four regions that it claims to have.

Trump said that his meeting with Putin would come before any sitting discussion that included Zellinsky. His announcement that he intends to host one of his country’s opponents on the land of the United States, with expectations that they will meet in a third country.

The gesture may give Putin’s health after the United States and its allies have long sought to make it a war against Ukraine.

Nigel Gold Davis, a co -fellow in Chatham House, a British -based British Thinking Center, told Associated Press for “Simoology” the summit in Alaska was clear and that the site “naturally preferred Russia”.

He said: “It is easy to imagine Putin, who was explaining the point …” We had this region one day and gave it, so Ukraine had this region and now it should give it to us, “referring to the 1867 transaction known as the purchase of Alaska when Russia sold Alaska to the United States for $ 7.2 million.

Warning and penalties

It was angry that Putin did not respond to his calls to stop the bombing of Ukrainian cities, Trump, nearly two weeks ago, raised his warning to impose additional sanctions on Russia and the introduction of a secondary tariff targeting countries that buy Russian oil if the Kremlin does not move towards the settlement.

“Only with great pressure” is that the United States and Russia reach a meaningful ceasefire, “says Marcus Colga, an older colleague at the McDonald Lorieer Institute.”

The deadline was on Friday. But the White House did not answer the questions in that evening about the possible sanctions after Trump announced the next meeting with Putin. Before that, Trump’s efforts to pressure Russia did not make any progress.

The largest Kremlin Army is slowly deeper in Ukraine at a large cost in forces and shields while bombing cities unabated. Russia and Ukraine are far from the conditions of peace.

Gold Davis is similar to attempts to understand what appears to be the last axis of Trump towards Moscow to the “Karetin Alam”, which is the practice of the Cold War era of deciphering the dark signals from the Soviet leadership.

“We … are looking for evidence and flash … about what is happening against hell; what is a mixture of effects on Trump and indeed in Trump’s head pays his last statement.”

“It seems as if his disappointment with Putin … has never happened,” Gold Davis pointed out, noting a sudden return to Russia’s most reconciliation policy adopted by Trump at the beginning of his presidency.
