YouTube brings wave To improve the quality of life of its platform. These visual updates and new features will be rolled out globally starting this week.

The main update to YouTube is a redesigned video player that makes icons and UI elements block less content. This new launcher design will appear on mobile, web, and TV. Some users have had access to this feature for about a month, so it may not be completely new to everyone. The search feature has also been updated where the viewer can double-tap to skip in a way that YouTube says is “more modern and less intrusive” and the transitions between tabs on mobile have also been upgraded.

For those of you who spend a lot of time in comments, you’ll see a new threaded style for replies. This update aims to “provide a more focused reading experience within the response panel.” The process of adding videos to playlists and Watch Later queues has also been simplified and tweaked to be a “smoother and clearer” experience. Finally, some content will start showing a little animation when you hit the like button. The blog post offers music videos and sports videos as examples of where users might start seeing brighter visuals.
