Yamaha YH-L500A Review: Very comfortable headphones

The only exception to this high level of construction is the control items, which give a somewhat cheap atmosphere due to the way you give up a little in the housing. However, it is (mostly) intuitive and easy to use even with glove fingers, and provides an excellent touch response.

None of this promises you amazing YH-L500A. These are large ear cups that swallow your ears because the pillows (replaceable) that embrace your head is a big and warm hug. A mixture of installation power, excellent head filling, and a brush weight block make these boxes an exceptional choice for long listening sessions, even while wearing glasses. My only note is that those who have very small heads may face a problem. If my head is smaller, then the ear wills are very low, even in the shortest atmosphere.

Part of what gives these boxes such a comfortable fit is its seal, which also creates a large negative noise insulation. When walking on crowded urban sidewalks, traffic and construction sounds were still completely heard but not annoying. At home, it was a similar story, while maintaining moderate intrusive voices but higher than the sounds.

I will not go to the point that it avoids the need for the African National Congress (especially travel), but this is not the breaking of the deal that I expected. What I missed is more than the absence of the African National Congress Party is the lack of a transparency. Without one, the voices (all of you and others) were muffled; I had to routinely pull the headphones to my neck even for fast conversations.

Unfortunately, this means that although the double YH-L500a microphones integrated to it decent sound receipt and cancel the background noise (especially inside), the use of these cans for wireless calls can be exhausted. Soon I am tired of being unable to hear my voice clearly. At home, you can circumvent this using a wired analog connection with UsB MIC desktop.

Very detailed sound

Equipped with a pair of 40 mm dynamic drivers, YH-L500A offers a very accurate and detailed sound, excellent clarity. The factory control maintains the bright and very bright at its highest level, although the medium range is perfect.

The Yamaha Five Prests app gives you to play with (energy, gentle, vocal, groove, and openness), but no one gave me the adjustments I was looking for. Fortunately, you can save your pre -settings (up to two) can be saved via a five -fish equalizer, and you can make your modifications from neutral, or from any of the factory pre -settings. By reducing the levels of the highest frequencies, giving a small boost to the lowest level, I found a mix that I really enjoyed.
