In the first “Star Trek” pilot, the Cage, PIKE (played by Jeffrey Hunter) was the series, not Captain Kerk (William Shatner). The Foundation visits the fourth planet Talos, the home of foreigners, the risk of the captive. but The “cage” was rejected as a pilot and went without fading.
“Star Trek” was captured after the re -formulated pilot, but the offer still finds a way to integrate the “cage”. As is now the main Canon “Trek”, Pike was the leader of the Foundation in front of Kirk, and the events of “The Cage” occurred several years before “The Original Series”. The “Menagerie” episode revealed that during a training session with some Starfleet students, PIKE (SEAN Kenney, which stands at Hunter) was detonated by the Delta radiation that he left as a non -moving, and non -verbal. The episode ends as I return it to Talos IV to live in a comfortable illusion.
Again in “Star Trek: Discovery”, PIKE has seen an obsession for his future. He was haunted throughout the new world “new worlds”, but before him at the end of the season, “the quality of mercy”, after a visit to an alternative schedule, showed him the reason for his fate. Likewise, Mary accepts her fate in this episode and tells Pike “(he) to all people should understand.”
In the temple, Pike and Mary faces a gambling Vizda-and then cuts the scene to Pike and Mary on the ground in the local bliss. They grow up together, they have a daughter, and Pike avoided his accident … but all this is an illusion. When Mary is on a deathbed, they return to the real world and died her fate that contains vezda. It is implicit that while the dream occurred in the blink of the eye, it is hair Like their years. Mary allowed them to try a full life together to make giving up each other easier.
This brings back the episode “Star Trek: The Next Generation” “The Inner Light”. Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) is missing, and in his head, 40 years old lives in an old world called “Kamin”. Only 25 minutes pass.
The end of Mary, closed in a non -moving condition on a foreign planet, is eventually back to Talos IV. But he still has a few years before this happens. Mary was sad, but the episode ends with the institution’s request to his next adventure. Pike knows a precious extent every moment he has “Captain Pike”, and he will all benefit from it.
“Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” flows on Paramount+ and was renewed for the fourth and fifth season.
