Wolves have won the future of striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, who signed a new contract to keep him in Molineux until 2030, with another general option.

The extension comes a few months after Norway International moved his constant move from Celta Vigo, after a fruitful loan talisman in which he scored 14 goals.

Its shape was sufficient to attract great attention in the summer, as wolves rejected bids of 50 million pounds and 55 million pounds from Newcastle United.

Director Vítor Pereira praised the news as a big batch of the club.

“It is very important – if we want to increase our level, if we want to give others a step to another, we need this type of players.

“It is not only tactical and artistic, but it is about spirit and personality. It is very important to us and it is very good news for us.”

Wolves paid 23 million pounds to sign forward immediately after its success in the loan, which helped the team a little in avoiding the decline by obtaining the sixteenth place in the Premier League campaign for the last season.

Although this term has not yet appeared in the league due to Achilles problem, the 25 -year -old has twice scored in the English Language Cup victory as a foreign language over West Ham before being marginalized.

He is waiting impatiently for his return like wolves, which are still without victory and below the table after four consecutive defeats, and prepared to face Leeds in Molineux this week.

Strand Larsen’s commitment to Pereira also comes to the title of a new three -year deal on Thursday.

The attacker has been in talks with the club since the summer, and his manager believes that the agreement comes at the ideal moment.

“Football is definitely not related to, but rather trust, hard work and today. It is related to work, personality and commitment.

“If you are here and watch work every day, you can appreciate someone’s work.”
