Basketball Hall of Fame Charles Barclay WNBA players are on guard as they appear to be going full steam ahead in a labor dispute, while Commissioner Cathy Engelbert is under scrutiny.

Minnesota Lynx Star Navisa Collier turned up the heat on Engelbert during her final media appearance of the season with reporters. She called out what she called a “lack of accountability from the league office” and alleged that Engelbert made caustic comments about rising stars Kaitlyn Clark and Paige Bueckers.

Colyer’s leadership has been praised by teammates around the league as she heads into heated collective bargaining negotiations. But Barclay pointed out that players should be careful not to over-deal their cards.

“They have to be very careful, they are treading on thin ice now,” he added. “Aizen’s rich show.” “I know they’re doing some great things, but you can’t overestimate your hand… As a league that has Larry Bird and Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan and a hundred great players, I think we’ve hit three times. Barkley added that players should be more careful when confronting billionaires and the power they have.

“No matter how many millions you make, you’re not a billionaire. So, you always have to be careful about overstretching your hand. What you’re doing is you’re trying to make the best deal you can right now and continue to grow, but you have to be careful about overstretching your hand.”

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver expressed optimism about reaching an agreement between the players and… WNBA It will be done, though he admits that the relationship between them and Engelbert will need to be repaired as well.
