Last week, Canada officially recognized the Palestinian state.
In explaining this decision, Prime Minister Mark Carnary issued a statement written by “Canada recognizes the status of Palestine and progresses our partnership in building a promise for a peaceful future for both the State of Palestine and the State of Israel.”
A little more than a week later, US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed an alternative way to move forward: a 20 -point plan they say will end the war in Gaza, but it is no less than creating a way to establish a Palestinian state.
Today, we are talking about the establishment of a Palestinian state, as well as the promise, failure and the unconfirmed future for the two -state solution.
