Israel decided to close its embassy in the Republic of Ireland, accusing the government in Dublin of pursuing “anti-Israel” policies.
Dublin strongly opposed the war on Gaza and recognized the state of Palestine.
But the Irish government rejected the Israeli accusations and said that it defends human rights and international law.
