  • Investors will watch the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision and Chairman Jerome Powell’s comments on Wednesday.

  • New data releases on PCE inflation and US GDP are also scheduled for this week.

  • 7 Magnificent members Tesla, Meta, Microsoft, and Apple are scheduled to report earnings.

The Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision on Wednesday and a series of closely watched earnings reports are among the top elements scheduled for a busy week ahead for investors.

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell will deliver remarks after the Fed meeting ends, as investors listen for more clues about the path forward for rates with a new presidential administration now in place. Investors will also get updates for the fourth quarter gross domestic product and Personal consumption expenditures Inflation data for December.

Several noteworthy companies are scheduled to report earnings, including Cool 7 Microsoft members (MSFT), meta pads (dead), Tesla (Tesla) and Apple (AAPL). Updates from AT&T (R), General Motors (GM), intel (Intc), caterpillar (cat), visa (Fifth) and exxonmobil (XOM) also on tap.
