“What if you installed CCTV in your home?”: Post LinkedIn from Recruiter on Gen Z Leaves Internet Users

The LinkedIn post of the recruiter has sparked a discussion about the Gen Z’s remote work, with a highlight of the tension between flexibility and accountability in the labor market today. The recruiter, who was determined as Anmol Phuela, noticed in this position that many young candidates strongly prefer to work away – asking employers in an increasing way.

“This is completely fair – flexibility is the future of work,” the recruiter wrote. “But this is the reality: while the most honest wants to work, some expect the salary without accountability.”

The recruiter said that participating in a real incident from a recent developer interview in Great Future Technology, and said that the candidate initially seemed good appropriate to this role. “The candidate seemed truly enthusiastic – the discussions were smooth, alignment agreements, and we were ready to move forward in the documents,” the post explained.

However, the operation struck a barrier when the recruiter reported the company’s plan to install Deskstreamz, a productivity tracking program. The tool, according to The Post, monitors productivity, attendance and working hours, similar to offices settings.

“His response? Refused,” the recruiter wrote. “He wanted the role and salary, but not the accountability that comes with it.”

The published recruiter concluded with a reminder: “Working from home does not mean working from anywhere without work. This means providing results with the same responsibility, ownership and productivity as if you were in the office.”

She also emphasized, “Transparency and performance are not additions-they are at the heart of the same job.”

The virus was not at any time, as Internet users were neglected by the company’s boldness to install a productivity tracking program on the employee’s personal computer.

One of the users wrote: “It is not the problem of Gen Z … It is your company is the problem … Do you agree with whether the company wants to install CCTV in your home to follow your productivity ?? Then why do you install its personal program? Do you want to track its productivity, give your device, and install what you want … You can even install things from a distance.”

One of the second users commented: “No one has a working brain that will allow you to install random shit on their property. Provide it with a laptop for the company, LOL.”

A third user said: “The productivity is measured by the tasks offered by employees, and not through the hours they spend hitting keys on a keyboard. It is completely right if he denies it.”
