The UK government plans to major defense reforms at the cost of social welfare programs, which attracts public anger.
Under the slogan “luxury, not war”, the demonstrators went out in London, and protesting the British government’s plans to increase military spending while retracting social support.
Like its European allies in NATO, the UK is under pressure from the United States to take responsibility for its security in light of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
But the European public-who face a cost-cost living crisis-may object to the British.
