West Ham completed the signing of defender Senegal El Hagi Malik Dioff.
The left back makes moving to the London Stadium after he helped Slavia Prague win the Czech title in 2024-25 after joining them from Norwegian Stomo in January 2024.
Diouf, 20, joined the hammers in a long -term deal, to become his first signature on the transfer window where the main coach Graham Potter is looking to improve him in the fourteenth place last season, with 2025-26 Appointment to celebrate his first responsible campaign.
It is scheduled to join the Training camp in West Ham in Germany this week.
“I am really happy to be here and to make progress for my career. I look forward to hard work and join my new team mates,” Diouf told West Ham.
“There were many teams (which wanted to sign me), but I chose West Ham United first and spoke with the coach (Graham Potter) and it was a good plan for me.
“Everyone wants to come here to play in the Premier League. I think it’s a dream for everyone. When they are here, they want to make everything good. I think they also have a playing personality here, and if you are young, you want to continue your progress.
“If you are young, you have to keep your personality. It is about the team. The most important thing is the team, not the player. I want to say to supporters West Ham, I am very happy with their presence with them. I think we’ll be doing a very good season this year.”
“We are very happy to welcome Hadji Malik at West Ham United,” Potter added.
“He is a young player we were watching for some time, and someone we think can be really appropriate to what we are trying to build in the club.
“He showed a tremendous force of character and maturity at such an early age – he left his home in Senegal to move to Norway in 18, then move to Prague – his offers were constantly high for some time now.
“Some wonderful progress has made so far with his clubs and with the national annual team, and we are looking forward to welcoming him in the team and working with him to continue this progress.
“The Premier League will be a big challenge for El Hadji Malick, but I can say that he is very excited about him and determined to make a good impact on the club and our supporters. He is a young, hungry and ambition, and I think it will be a very positive addition to the group.”
