Director Arny Slieot said that Liverpool will always carry Dugo Jota in their hearts, while his team is preparing to play his first match since the death of the tragic striker.

Gota, 28, and Brother Andre Silva, 25, were killed in a car accident in northwestern Spain on July 3.

Since then, a greeting from all over the football world has been overwhelmed, while Liverpool announced that they will be retreating No. 20 wears it by Gota In honor of the Portugal star.

The Reds Jota will remember before facing Prestton North End in a friendly season in Deepdale on Sunday.

Liverpool’s return to the field may prove a difficult experience for players, but Slot believes that keeping the memory of Jota alive in their hearts will be useful in the most difficult moments.

“We will always carry it with us in our hearts, in our thoughts, wherever we go. Perhaps it is particularly in difficult moments,” Slot told LFC TV before the game with Prestton.

“But at any moment we are here, we will carry it with us in our thoughts and in our hearts. His shirt is the only thing that we can do.

“I think what I feel from the comfort (he) in the last month of his life was a hero in everything. He is a hero for his family, which is the main and most important thing, because he got married.

“His country’s champion because he won the Nations League, (with) a country that he cares a lot, because he also wore science when we had celebrations. Of course, he champion our Premier League victory.

“The first feeling that we all feel is the sadness.

“I spoke to many of his teammates, I spoke to many employees, and all of them resided greatly and they all say how nice he was from the person he was. He was always the same. So they should be very proud if they could hear what all his teammates and all the employees say about him.

“Secondly from everything, I think our fans can be proud of the players we have in this club. They saw them winning the league, and this was a great achievement, but what they did last week with teamwork, and how they did themselves when they were in Portugal (for the funeral of Gota) together, the fans did not asked for more players when it came to humans.

“These are emotions.

Regarding the possibility of playing football again after the death of Gota, the hole added: “Nothing seems important if we think about what happened. But we are a football club and we need training and we need to play again, if we want it or not.

“What I said to the players, I can say that here too. It is very difficult to find the right words because we are constantly discussing what is appropriate. What is appropriate in our actions? What is (what is) what is appropriate for what we say? Can we train again? Can we laugh again? Can we get angry if there is a wrong decision?

“I told them, perhaps the best thing for us is to deal with this situation like Jota. What I meant was that Jota was always the same, it was not important if he was talking to me, to his teammates, to the employees, he was always the same.

“So let’s try to be ourselves as well. So, if we want to laugh, we laugh; if we want to cry, we will cry. If they want to train they can train, if they don’t want to train, they will not be able to train. But be yourself, do not think that you should be different from your feelings.

“Second, Jots was the player who if things were really difficult, I always looked at him and said,” Now we need something special from you. “He greeted several times in those moments. I can reach all these moments, even before I was here he had a lot of these moments too.

“So we are very difficult, so let’s try to do what Diogo did several times. If it is very difficult, try a little difficult or continue to continue to continue and try to make it work.

“The last thing was that he was the player in our team, I would like to say that it was mainly related to the team. Not only the players; as I said, the employees. If we want to go during this period, we need to do so together.”
