Tottenham President Thomas Frank says he is enthusiastic to win the Carabao Cup while his team is preparing to host Doncaster in the third round.
Spears enters the competition at a later stage due to the competition in the Champions League, and the first league team comes to the city on Wednesday evening.
Frank presented an update to his fitness in his team, saying that everyone who traveled to Brighton would be available.
This would indicate that the likes of Ben Davis, Randal Cullo are Manani and Dominic Solanki, who will not be involved in the southern coast.
At the level of the opposition facing his team, Frank had some strict words to warn.
He said: “I do not know any coach, manager or player who does not want to compete and try to win. Go to the Carabau Cup tomorrow, we really look forward to him and we will do our best to try and win it. We play for that.
“There will be some rotation but it must be, with all respect for Doncaster.
“They have given what I know well and he is a very good man and his team we need to respect, but we need to play at our highest levels and reach the next round.”
When asked if he wanted to win the cup, he added: “Of course I would like to win, there is no doubt about it. For me, we need to take one game simultaneously.
“We need to cross the Donkster tomorrow, the next game and the next game. Then if we get to the final, you can ask this question after that.”
