War in Ukraine: The number of deaths in Kyiv rises to 31 after the Russian strikes

On Friday, Ukraine noticed a day of mourning in the aftermath of one of the bloody Russian attacks on the capital Kiev since the full invasion of 2022. At least 31 people, including five children, were killed in bombing on Thursday. US President Donald Trump, who gave Russia “10 or 12” this week to end hostile actions, said the attacks were “disgusting.” Gulliver Cragg, our correspondent in Ukraine, has more.
