Sports President Friedricho Varandas confirmed that striker Victor Gioker will face disciplinary measures in the club after her failure to train on Saturday.
Giokers was scheduled to return to the pre -season training on July 12, after the club gave him permission to delay his return.
Arsenal has held talks to sign the 27 -year -old, but has so far failed to reach an agreement on a deal worth 69 million pounds.
“We are calm,” Varandas said.
“If they do not want to pay the fair market value of VIKTOR, we will be very comfortable for that during the next three years.
“If the genius who put this strategy believe this puts pressure on me to facilitate its departure, it is not only completely wrong, but it makes it more complicated for the player to leave.
“No one is above the club’s interests. Who are they.”
Sport is believed to want a preliminary fee of 60.4 million pounds, in addition to 8.6 million pounds in additional jobs.
After joining Sporting from Coventry for about 20 million pounds in 2023, Gyokeres scored 97 goals in 102 games during his season in Portugal.
Gyokeres 54 goals in 52 games in all competitions during the last campaign, including three trilogy against Manchester City in the Champions League, helped win the league and the Portuguese Cup.
The move to Arsenal will witness that Giokraz returns to English football, after joining Brighton in January 2018 before moving to Coventry after loan attacks in St. Pauli and Swansea.
Giokraz scored 43 goals for Coventry in his seasons and half in the championship team.
Gyokeres to the latest Arsenal Transfer
The talks between Arsenal and Sports continue to sign Gioker, but the gap in the attacker’s evaluation is still between the two clubs.
Although clubs are not very far from a compromise on the total fees, they believe that the amount of these drawings will be guaranteed is the key.
It is understood that Arsenal is encouraged and admired by the player’s desire to join, but they will be disciplined in their approach.
They have given the due care on other goals if a deal with sport cannot be concluded.
