Ace Space Mobile On Wednesday announced an agreement with Verizon To provide cellular service from space starting next year.

This deal aims to provide direct contact with the service in space for mobile phone users “when needed” on Verizon plans,, According to AST. This represents an expansion of the partnership between the two companies announced last year.

AST shares increased by more than 11 % before a bell on Wednesday. The fluctuating space stocks increased by more than 250 % during the year before the announcement of this deal. Verizon shares increased by 0.7%.

“Through our final commercial agreement with Verizon, we are working to provide a space spacecraft coverage from space across space across the continental United States.”

The conditions of the deal were not immediately available.

AST Spacemobile, since the beginning of the year

Avelan said this deal will expand the distinctive low range spectrum of 850MHz from Verizon to regions in the United States that can get enhancement of coverage from AST space broadcaster.

AST said this deal comes after it has proven its capabilities through the recent tests of its space network. The company itself is the first and only global cellular network that works in space directly through standard devices that can be used in both commercial and government settings.
