On Monday, US Vice President JD Vance said on Monday while hosting the Charlie Kerk radio program that he was “desperate” for national unity after the killing of the conservative political activist, but finding a common ground with the people who celebrated the assassination of his friend is impossible.

Republican Vice President occupied as a host of Charlie Kerk Show From his festive office at the Eisenhower Executive Office building next to the White House. The direct broadcast of the two -hour program was broadcast in the White House press reign, and participated in a series of manifestations by White House officials and administration who knew Kerk, 31.

Vans opened by saying that “he fills an uncomfortable person, but I will do my best.” He narrated his conversations with Kirk’s widow, Erika, and her memories as a nice and loving husband.

In his closing comments, Vans criticized what he said was lies about Kirk, which he blamed for the killing. He also promised the Trump administration to stop anyone killing another person because of his words.

Kirk made comments over the years, some Democrats and others said they were hostile to immigrants or racists, hated women or attacks in other ways.

“I am desperate to unite our country in condemning the actions and ideas that killed my friend,” Vans said in the program. “I want it so much that I will tell you a difficult fact. We can only have it with people who admit that political violence is unacceptable.”

Kirk’s effect with Trump, Vans

Vans, 41, was particularly close to Kirk, who founded Turning Point Usa, one of the largest political organizations in the country with chapters on the secondary school campus and colleges.

Others who joined Vans on the Kirk program are the Chief of Staff of the White House, Suzy Wales, Minister of Health and Humanitarian Services Robert F. Kennedy Junior, journalist secretary Caroline Levit and Vice Chief of Staff Stephen Miller.

On broadcasting, Vans said that “incredibly destroyed movement of leftist extremism” helped to kill Kirk, and the conversation turned towards the fighting what Vans described as “a festival’s violence on the far left” with Miller, the first guest.

Miller said: “With God, as my watch, we will use every resource we have in the Ministry of Justice and the Security of the country and throughout this government to determine these networks, disrupt, disassem and destroy them,” Miller said. “This will happen, and we will do so in the name of Charlie.”

Vans held two thick organizations to contempt: the open institutions of society, funded by billionaire and democratic donor George Soros; And Ford Foundation, has accused charitable organizations to finance an article in the Umma magazine, which it criticized. Both groups said they are not funding the nation currently.

Alex Soros, who is now leading the open community, issued a statement confirming that the organization opposes “all forms of violence and condemning the outrageous accusations on the contrary”, and that it “condemned” kirk kirk last week.

Alex Soros wrote: “It is disgraceful to use this tragedy for the political ends to seriously divide the Americans and attack the first amendment,” Alex Soros wrote.

The shooter does not cooperate

Law enforcement officials said they believed that Tyler Robinson, a 22 -year -old suspect, is accused of killing Kirk during an outdoor event at Utah Valley University last Wednesday, alone.

Robinson was held in his parents ’house, about 420 km southwest of the crime scene after a 33 -hour feast.

The state governor of Utah says that the suspect in Charlie Kirk shoots a “extremist”

The authorities share new details about Tyler Robinson, accused of shooting right -wing activist Charlie Kerk. Uttah state governor described him as a smart young man who has become extremist. His alleged behavior continues to feed the political division throughout the United States

Spencer Cox said on Sunday that Robinson did not cooperate with the authorities.

The state’s records show that Robinson had scored a voter without choosing a political party and did not vote in the 2024 presidential elections. But one of the relatives told the police that Robinson had grew more political and expressed Kerk’s hatred in a recent conversation.

The Washington Post reported on Monday that Robinson had sent a message through an online platform dispute to friends who apparently recognize the crime.

“I was in UVU yesterday. I am sorry for all this,” read a message from the account that belongs to Robinson, which was sent Thursday evening, shortly before his arrest, according to the newspaper, citing two people familiar with the chat as well as the screenshots that I got.

High -level political attacks

Kirk’s killing was the latest in a series of prominent episodes of American political violence.

Last year, Trump was the subject of two assassination attempts, including a group with his ear with a bullet.

In April, a fire man began at the home of the governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, although the ruler and his family survived.

In June, the assassination of senior legislators in the democratic state in Minnesota and her husband were assassinated at their home, and a man of Molotov cocktails threw a pro -Israel march in Colorado, killing one.

In August, an obsessed gunman launched the conspiracies that were launched in centers of control and prevention centers in Atlanta, killing a police officer.
