The United States Golf Association (USGA) has confirmed that it will not change the driver test protocols or the results of the release test, despite the recent failures involved in Ruri McLeri and Sisti Chefler.
The drivers test drew attention during the PGA championship last month after reports revealed that the Mcilroy driver was considered unacceptable.
Mcilroy, who used a backup driver throughout the tournament, chose not to talk to the media throughout the competition period but later confirmed the report and expressed his disappointment that the results were leaked.
Scientist 1 Chefler also revealed that he had turned into a backup driver in the PGA championship after his original club failed to test.
Speak before the US Open Championship for this week in OakMont – Live On Sky Sports – The CEO of USGA, Mike One, said that unattended results are usually due to wear and not deliberate violations.
“These drivers do not raise red flags during the test,” he said. “They simply crawl over the line due to excessive use.”
Whan confirmed that USGA is testing drivers as a service for players, manufacturers and tours-not to punish. He said that the organization is committed to maintaining confidentiality to avoid unnecessary controversy.
“What happened in the PGA championship just strengthened our intention to prevent this from becoming a public scene,” he said. “Reality is much less dramatic than addresses.”
The driver faces naturally decomposing over time, in the end failure to test the “distinctive time”, which measures the pressure -like effect on the interface.
WHAN liked it with as a trampoline: “The more the ball continues, the higher the higher. If it exceeds 258 microscopic, it is out of tolerance.”
A random test was conducted this week in OakMont, but what he said was not aware of any failures. He added that USGA will not re -evaluate her approach unless anxious trend appears.
