The United Nations for UNICEF warns that the world faces one of the greatest food crises and nutrition of our time. 45 million children around the world suffer from wasting, 150 million children have stopped growing, and each year contributes to mothers in 800,000 deaths of newborns. These numbers are released as the summit of growth for growth, which is held every four years, takes place here in Paris. The summit is designed to discuss major issues and for global leaders to provide bold political and financial obligations to accelerate the progress of nutrition. In its correct perspective, we talked to the executive director of UNICEF Catherine Russell. She told us: “If you are investing in children, this is something that pushes forever on the road.”
