Aaliyah Chavez, McDonald’s All-Mamerican, ranks third in the nation, according to the final ESPN classifications. After completing the high school basketball career at Monterrey High School, a point goalkeeper will join Oklahoma Soners next season.
On Tuesday, her mother, Andrea Chavez, shared some health photos on Instagram from the mother duo and daughter with the countdown on the day of graduation.
“Believe yourself, believe that you can, and will do it,” Andrea Chavez has suspended her story and put a mark on her daughter, along with the countdown label.

The average Chavez, who joined school in the 2021-22 season, reached 25.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 6.7 decisive passes, 2.3 thefts, and 0.7 blocks per game in 39 games in the season of its student.
In four seasons in The Plainsmen, Chavez play 150 games and an average of 32.0 PPG, 5.1 APG, 8.5 RPG, 3.2 SPG and 0.9 BPG.
In its last season in Monterey, Chavez was close to a double double average, with 34.5 PPG, 9.1 RPG, 4.3 APG, 3.7 SPG and 1.2 BPG in 42 games.

Chavez also led the school to the Uil Texas Girls Basketball Championship for 2025 after winning 64-35 against Liberty Hill on March 1.
