Ukraine officials say Kyiv hit a huge new drone attack

Local officials say that the capital of Ukraine Kiev was once again in the context of a massive attack on Russian drones, as at least 13 people were injured and fires throughout the city.

The authorities in Kyiv say that the drone wreckage was hit on the roof of a residential building in the central Shevcheskevsky area.

Social media footage shows, so far that has not been verified by the BBC, explosions in the night sky, as air defense units begin to repel the attack. The Ukraine army also warned against threatening a ballistic missile attack.

Last night, Ukraine reported the largest air attack from Russia, After 728 drones and 13 tourist or ballistic missiles, cities across the country struck in multiple waves.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, the military administration in Kiev reported the strikes of Russian drones in six areas of the city.

“Residential buildings, vehicles, warehouses, office and non -residential buildings are burning,” said the head of the administration.

The city’s residents urged shelter until the alarm sirens were raised.

Overnight, the Air Force in Ukraine reported a threat to Russian drones attacks in a number of areas. It was not immediately clear whether there were any victims outside Kyiv.

The Russian army did not comment on the last reported attack.
