Two teenagers were arrested in the spy case associated with Russia

Prosecutors say that 17 -year -old boys were arrested on suspicion of “state intervention” in the Netherlands, in a case with links to Russian espionage.

It was claimed that the spouses were contacted by the infiltrators loyal to Russia on the Telegram application, according to the Dutch media.

It is claimed that one of the boys has followed the Europol, Eurojust offices and the Canadian Embassy in The Hague carrying “Wi-Fi Snifer”-a device designed to determine and intercept Wi-Fi networks.

Teenagers appeared in front of a judge on Thursday, who ordered the detention of one boy in arrest and the other in the conditions of strict guarantee at home until a hearing in the next two weeks.

One of the boy’s father told the Dutch newspaper De Telegraf that the police arrested his son on Monday afternoon while he was doing his duty.

He told him that the police told him that the arrest related to espionage and the provision of services to a foreign country, according to newspaper reports.

The teenager was described as a smart computer and has a magic for piracy, with a part -time job in a supermarket.

The Intelligence and Security Agency for the Netherlands refused to comment on the case when approaching the BBC.
