Tuchil says that Al -Abyad was not chosen for family reasons

Thomas Tuchil, the director of England, says he did not choose Arsenal Ben White defender for his last team because the right -back is about to become a father for the first time.

White won the latest four England capsules in 2022 and returned home early in the World Cup that year before making himself not available for selection.

But Tuchel has confirmed that it is now available for selection.

He said: “Ben was involved in the latest Arsenal match, but we talked and decided now not the moment because he would become a very close father, because the child is worth the history of the camp exactly. He is his first child and we wish him and his wife all the best.

“We thought that if he returned, it should be a clear mind and the full focus of football that is not now the case. We decided together that this is not the camp to return.

“The second reason is that he played recently, I think it can still increase 10-15 % in physical ability. Given all the circumstances we decided are not with us.

“100 % was ready to choose now but the main was due to the family.”

The three black Tuchel faces Andorra at the World Cup qualification on June 7, and Senegal plays in a friendly in the city of Nottingham Forest after three days.

The newly expanded World Cup begins on June 14, and Tuchel says it decided not to give any players competing in that early tournament.

He said: “We will start the camp with 26 players and end with the same 26 players as well.
