Curry LakeThe US CEO of the World Agency for World Media (USAGM), which supervises Voice of America (VOA), announced on Friday that 532 government jobs were canceled.

The lake was assigned to restructure the USAGM and its broadcaster after the president Donald TrumpExecutive order on March 14, which aims to dismantle USagm operations. But Trump’s order faced legal obstacles, and a federal judge banned a lake from Michael Abramovits as director of America last week.

While the Americans went to the Labor Day, Lake announced her latest plans.

Tonight, the US Agency for World Media began what is known to be a power reduction, or RIF, for a large number of its federally federal employees. We are running this RIF in the direction of the president to help Social media.

“USAGM will continue to fulfill its legal mission after this gun – and it is possible to improve its ability to work and provide truth to people all over the world who live under fatal communist governments and other tyrant regimes,” Leck continued. “I look forward to taking additional steps in the coming months to improve the work of a very broken agency and make sure that America’s voice is heard abroad as it matters more.”

The Washington Post reported that “multiple beneficiaries” from the memo said that the date of the termination is September 30.

This step is the latest attempt to dismantle VOA, an international broadcaster who was originally created to combat enemy propaganda during World War II.

Carrie Lake said that the cuts would help reduce government bureaucracy.

The head of the White House office of Patsey and Widakosura, one of the main prosecutors who are sustaining the lake because of its attempts to close VOA, issued a statement of the memo.

“We find Lake’s ongoing attacks on our hateful agency. We look forward to depositing it to hear whether her plan to dismantle VOA has been done with the strict review process required by Congress,” said Widakusura.

“Until now we have not seen any evidence of this, and therefore we will continue to struggle for what we believe is our rights under the law,” she continued.

Trump’s executive order led to the administrative leave of about 1,300 Voa employees and the end of many contracts, actually stopping the broadcaster’s activities for the first time in its 83 -year -old history.
