President Donald Trump said he was “recommending” a 50 % tariff on goods from the European Union, which is being imported to the United States.

“Our discussions with them do not go anywhere!”

This announcement represents a escalation of the Trump’s trade war with the European Union, which currently has a 10 % tariff of all the goods brought to America.

The President also threatened to impose an import tax of 25 % on the iPhone devices that were not manufactured in America.

“I have long reported Tim Cook from Apple that I expect it to be manufactured in the United States of America that will be sold in the United States of America and built in the United States, not India, or anywhere else,” Trump said.

“If not, then a tariff should be paid at least 25 % by Apple to the United States.”

Since the re -introduction of the White House, Trump has imposed and threatened many customs tariffs on countries all over the world, which it sees as a way to enhance the manufacture of the United States and protect it from foreign competition.
