US President Donald Trump says that the American forces carried out another blow targeting a ship claiming to be “evading illegal drugs”, killing at least three men on board the ship.

This announcement, late on Friday, represents the third time that the United States has obtained a fatal attack on an alleged vehicle for drug trafficking this month.

In a post on the social truth platform, Trump said that the “deadly kinetic strike” was signed based on his orders in the “field of responsibility” for the South American leadership – a region that includes 31 countries in South and Central America and the Caribbean.

Trump said: “The intelligence confirmed that the ship was escaping from the illegal drugs, and it was crossed along a known drug corridor on its way to the poisoning of Americans,” Trump said.

“The strike was killed by 3 male drug players on board the ship, which was in international waters. No American forces were affected in this strike.”

The United States twice this month carried out strikes against the alleged drug ships that originated in Venezuela.
