US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Israel agreed to the conditions of a 60 -day ceasefire in Gaza and the armed group warned Hamas against accepting the deal before the circumstances worsen.
Trump announced the development – which Israel has not yet commented – is preparing to host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to hold talks at the White House on Monday. The American leader increased pressure on the Israeli government and Hamas for the mediator for a ceasefire, betting and ending the war in Gaza.
“My representatives held a long and productive meeting with the Israelis today in Gaza. Israel agreed to the necessary conditions to end the ceasefire for 60 days, and during that time we will work with all parties to end the war,” Trump wrote on social media.
“I hope, for the interest of the Middle East, that the enthusiasm of this deal will take, because it will not improve – it will get worse,” he said.
Trump’s promise was his best and the last might find skeptical audience with Hamas. Even before the end of the war of the war, Trump has repeatedly issued a dramatic warning to pressure Hamas to agree to a temporary martial stop, which will witness the launch of more hostages and the return of more assistance to the civilian people of Gaza.
Israeli strikes killed a number of people throughout Gaza on Monday, as the population in the North Report increased the bombing. This comes as the Israeli officials in Washington were scheduled to be a new shooting by the Trump administration.
The Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs, Ron Dimer, was in Washington on Tuesday to hold talks with senior administration officials to discuss the ceasefire in Gaza, Iran and other matters. Dermer was expected to meet with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Steve Witkev.
Earlier on Tuesday, Trump repeated his hope for falsifying the Israeli fire for the ceasefire next week.
When asked whether the time had come to pressure Netanyahu to complete the ceasefire deal, Trump said that the Israeli Prime Minister was ready to reach an agreement.
“He wants it,” Trump said in an exchange with journalists during his visit to a new facility. “I think we will have a deal next week.”
The talks between Israel and Hamas repeatedly stumbled on a large attached point – whether the war should end as part of any ceasefire agreement. About 50 hostages remain captive in Gaza, with less than half that they are alive.
US -backed aid bombing groups
This development came as more than 150 charitable groups and the International Humanitarian Society called on Tuesday to dissolve the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, a controversial Israeli system and supported by the United States and that distributes aid in Gaza, due to chaos and deadly violence against Palestinians looking for food in its positions.
Witnesses and health officials said that the joint statement shown by groups including Oxfam, Children and Amnesty International’s great killings followed at least 10 Palestinians looking for food who needed it severely. Meanwhile, at least 37 Israeli air strikes were killed in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, according to Nasser Hospital.
“Tents and tents that they hit with missiles?” Umm Saif Abu Lida, who killed his son in strikes. The mourners threw flowers on the body bags.
United Nations Secretary -General Antonio Guterres says that the US -backed aid process in Gaza is “inherently safe,” accusing the humanitarian basis in Gaza, which is to help the military and force displacement.
Before Trump’s announcement, Israel Defense Minister, Israel Katz, warned that his country would respond strongly to the launch of a missile that the army emerging from Yemen said. The sirens seemed through parts of Israel, alerting residents to the attack and firing two projectiles from Gaza. They were all intercepted by Israeli defense systems.
The rocket launched the first attack by the Houthi rebels supported by Iran since the end of the 12 -day war that Israel started with Iran. Katz said that Yemen could face the same fate of Tehran.
Nasruddin Amer, Vice -President of the Houthi Information Office, pledged to social media that Yemen will not “stop supporting Gaza, unless the aggression stops and the siege is lifted on Gaza.”
Speaking to his government, Netanyahu did not clarify his visit to Washington next week, except for saying that he will discuss a commercial deal. Iran is expected to be a major topic of discussion in Washington after Trump mediated a ceasefire between it and Israel.
