US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he had ordered the transfer of two nuclear submarines in response to “inflammatory statements” from former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

“I asked for two nuclear submarines in the appropriate areas, only if these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than that,” Trump said as social media.

“Words are very important, and they can often lead to unintended consequences, I hope this is not one of these cases.”

Trump and Medvedev, Vice -President of the Russian Security Council, circulated ridicule in recent days after Trump said on Tuesday that Russia “10 days after today” to agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine or was beaten, along with its oil buyers with the customs tariff.

Trump gives Putin the 50 -day deadline for a ceasefire on Ukraine

US President Donald Trump announced the 50 -day deadline for Russia to reach a ceasefire with Ukraine or to face a “very severe tariff.” Meanwhile, Trump also pledged renewed support for Ukraine – a step welcomed by NATO allies.

Moscow, whose special conditions for peace in Ukraine, have not shown any sign that it will comply with Trump’s deadline.

On Monday, Medvedev accused Trump of engaging in a “warning game” and reminded him that Russia had the capabilities of the nuclear strike in the Soviet era in the last resort after Trump told Medifv “to watch his words.”

Medvedev has emerged as one of the most anti -Western falcons in the Kremlin since Russia sent tens of thousands of forces to Ukraine in 2022. Kurdish critics are mocking him as an irresponsible loose gun, although some Western diplomats say his statements clarify the thinking of senior political courses in the Kremlin policy.
