US President John Brennan and James Kumi are attacked by the reports of two men under investigation on the Trump probe.
US President Donald Trump suggested that the former CIA director John Brennan and former FBI President James Come “must” pay “amid reports that the two men were subject to criminal investigation.
When asked about the reports on Wednesday, Brennan Womei is investigated by the FBI, Trump said he knew nothing other than what he read in the news, but he considered both of them “very honorable”.
“I think they are crooked like hell and they may have to pay for that,” Trump told reporters during a meeting with African leaders at the White House.
“I think they are truly bad people and unintended people, so whatever happens.”
Fox News, which first reported the investigation, said that the two men were examined due to “unlimited violations” in terms of investigations into the Trump campaign’s 2016 campaign links in Russia.
Many other ports, including CNN and New York Times, have confirmed the investigation.
The FBI refused to comment. The US Department of Justice did not respond to the request for suspension.
In an interview with MSNBC, Brennan said he was not contacted by the authorities, but any “clear” political biased.
“I think this, unfortunately, is a very sad and tragic example of the persistence of politicization of the intelligence community, for the national security process,” Brennan said.
“Fullly frankly, I am really shocked because individuals are ready to sacrifice their reputation, credibility, and grass.”
Kumi did not respond to a request for the commentary on his website.
Trump has repeatedly hit Brennan and died of their role as “Russia’s trick.”
The 2019 report issued by Special Counselor Robert Muller concluded that Russia interfered in the 2016 elections in favor of Trump, but it did not find that his campaign was “conspiracy or coordinator” with Moscow.
