President Donald Trump allowed the deployment of 300 National Guard soldiers on Chicago to address what he says is a crime out of control.
The move came hours after the immigration authorities said that they faced the demonstrators in the city run by the Democrats and shot an armed woman when she and others were shocked by law enforcement vehicles.
For weeks, government and local leaders criticized Trump’s publication plans and described it as power use. “Trump is trying to manufacture a crisis.”
This announcement came as a federal judge in Portland, Oregon – another liberal city – temporarily prevented the Trump administration from deploying 200 soldiers there.
Judge Karen called Trump’s statements about the circumstances in Portland, “not associated with facts”, and said the move violated the constitution.
She said that the army’s use to suppress the turmoil without the approval of the state of Oregon risks sovereignty for that state and others. IMMERGUT has eliminated that the administration’s arguments for publication “are clear risks between the Federal Civil and Military Authority – at the expense of this nation.”
A legal challenge is likely to be presented to any publication in Chicago. It is not clear whether any forces have been deployed in the democratic city.
The city is the latest – many of them led by Democrats – aimed at a controversial deployment of the forces, and joining Washington, Los Angeles, Memvice, Tennessee and Portland.
Chicago has witnessed an increase in protests to enforce migration in the city, and many of them occur outside the American immigration and customs facilities.
“In the midst of continuous violent riots and non -chaos, local leaders such as GOV refused to interfere in repression, and President Trump has authorized 300 National Guard men to protect officers and federal assets,” said White House spokeswoman Abigel Jackson. “President Trump will not turn a blind eye to the chaos of the American cities.”
On Saturday – before Trump declared the forces there – the Ministry of Internal Security said in a statement that the American border patrol staff shot a woman after a group of people shocked the car enforcement vehicles. The statement said that the woman was armed.
The woman’s injuries were unclear. DHS said she led herself to a local hospital.
