WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Republican President Donald Trump said on Saturday that he ordered the US military to issue a comment imposed by former Democratic President Joe Biden on the supply of 2000 pounds to Israel.

This step was widely expected.

“We fired at us. We launched them today. They will be them. They paid their price and they were waiting for them for a long time. They were storage,” Trump told reporters on the Air Force.

Biden put the reservation on the delivery of these bombs due to anxiety about the impact that could cause them to the civilian population, especially in the Gaza Rafah, during the Israeli war in the Palestinian pocket.

One bomb can 2000 lbs rupture through thick concrete and minerals, creating a wide diameter of the explosion. Reuters reported last year that the Biden administration had sent thousands of bomb 2000 pounds to Israel after October 7, 2023, an attack by Palestinian militants Hamas from Gaza, but they put one shipment.

Washington has announced a value of billions of dollars in Israel since the war began.

When asked why strong bombs were released, Trump replied, “Because they bought them.”

Earlier on Saturday, Trump said on the social truth platform, “Many of the things that were requested and paid by Israel, but it has not been sent by Biden, is now on their way!”

Trump and Biden were strong supporters of the American ally of Israel, even when Washington was criticized by human rights advocates for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza of the military attack of Israel. The demonstrators demanded in vain to ban weapons.

Washington says it is helping Israel defending Iranian -backed armed groups such as Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Hythles in Yemen.

The arrest of Gaza in Gaza entered into force a week ago and led to the release of some Israeli hostages, which Hamas kept in exchange for the Palestinian prisoners held by Israel. Before his inauguration on January 20, Trump warned that he would be “hell for payment” if the hostages were not released by Hamas in Gaza.

Hamas acquired about 250 hostages during the 2023 attack on Israel, where about 1,200 people were killed, according to the Israeli. The last bloodshed in the Israeli -Palestinian conflict has ignited decades ago.

More than 47,000 people were killed by Israel, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, and led to accusations of genocide and the war denied by Israel. It also displaced almost all Gaza population and caused a hunger crisis.
