Trint Alexander-Arnold says that Liverpool fans were “incredible help” as he started a new chapter in his career at Real Madrid today-and left an immediate impression by speaking the Spanish language by requesting it.
The right -back in England stumbled on several occasions after he announced that he would leave Anfield when his contract ended at the end of last season, although Madrid ended up paying a fee of 10 million pounds to sign it before the club’s World Cup.
It was a sour end when it was unlikely that Liverpool and Reds fans liked the new Alexander-Arnold skills.

He said: βAll I achieved with Liverpool was incredible, and it will never be forgotten. But I went out in a good way, I am happy with the way I did. I couldn’t say anything bad about the fans. Everyone was incredible, they supported me a lot. It was an incredible help.

Alexander Arnold to work with the “hero” Alonso
Alexander-Arnold will now have an opportunity to work in the era of Xabi Alonso, who will lead Madrid for the first time in the club’s World Cup in the United States, with the start of competition this weekend.
As a former player in Liverpool, Alonso is a hero by Alexander-Arnold, who said: βI grew up with Liverpool fans, and I watched Istanbul (the 2005 Champions League victory in Liverpool) with the manager doing incredible things in this final.
“We talked a little and told him that he is a great idol for me, so it has become a real dream.
“It affected my game a lot and affected me more training and has great hunger to be able to do this and set standards.
“We have not officially met, we will rise in the next few weeks. (We will discuss) what it seems, what he expects from me. Not only again here, and he must take over his ideas.
“It may take some time but it showed how amazing. His knowledge is abundant and I will be a sponge around him.”
Bellingham did not have to sell Madrid a dream
Another familiar face in Madrid to Alexander Arnold is a friend and fellow England, Joud Bellingham.
Despite their close association, Alexander Arnold denied the conversation that the former Borussia Dortmund man had affected his decision to move to Santiago Bernabeu.
“We talked about Real Madrid,” he said. “It was not exactly what people thought, it was a lot about Piverpool and Real Madrid, and these are your talks as players and friends. You want to know what it is.
“Everyone asks him questions in the national team about Madrid. To be honest, the club talks about itself, it is a great opportunity for me.”
