Former “GMA3” anchors T. J. Holmes and Amy Ryan They’re officially engaged and are revealing the news on their podcast “Amy & TJ.”
The couple was private, with only close family knowing, although Robach wore her ring in public without anyone bothering to ask her about the jewelry.

Former GMA3 anchors TJ Holmes and Amy Robach have taken their once-controversial romance to the next level, as they’ve officially become engaged.
During Tuesday’s episode of the “Amy & TJ” podcast, Robach, 52, dropped the news: “We’re sharing with all of you that we’re engaged, and we’ve been engaged for about a month now.”
“We wanted to let you all know before anyone else could; I think we’ve learned that lesson in the past about our relationship,” Robach added.
During the podcast, Holmes also revealed that Robach would wear her engagement ring openly to big occasions without anyone noticing the diamond.

Holmes claimed that Robach even wore it in “crowds of tens of thousands” of people, and surprisingly “no one said a word.”
“I was in three huge football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring so proudly, so excitedly, and I kept waiting for someone to point me out or ask me, ‘Hey, what is this?’ It never happened,” Robach said.
She noted that perhaps no one commented on her ring out of courtesy, saying those close to them likely “understand what they’ve been through and don’t want to pry.”
“Maybe that was the case,” Robach added.
Holmes agreed, noting: “We didn’t keep it a secret, but no one asked!” He joked that their friends and family were probably kicking themselves for not noticing the obvious.

The couple told a few family members about the engagement

According to Holmes, only about a dozen people, mostly immediate family members, knew of the engagement.
He also warned listeners not to believe any false stories about how the proposal happened, and assured fans that they plan to share this chapter of their love story soon.
An insider said earlier Us Weekly In June, Holmes had been planning to propose for some time.
The same source revealed that the couple intends to keep things cordial by inviting their ex-girlfriends, Marilee Fiebig and Andrew Shaw, to the wedding.

Speculation about Holmes and Robach’s engagement first began in March, when Robach was spotted wearing a noticeable diamond ring on her left hand at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Later that month, Holmes sparked rumors by casually referring to her as his “wife” during the “I Do, Part 2” podcast episode.
At the time, Robach admitted she wasn’t in a rush to walk down the aisle. Her divorce from Shaw was only finalized in March 2023, while Holmes officially ended his marriage to Fiebig later in October of that year.

“There’s no urgency in the sense that I’m 51,” she said during a September 2024 podcast episode. “I don’t need to rush into anything. I think I’ve rushed into everything in my life so far. But he knows I want to get married, and I know he wants to get married.”

Robach and Holmes first made headlines in November 2022, when rumors began circulating about their relationship. Fast forward to February 2024, Robach shared her thoughts on what her third wedding might look like during an episode of the show. ““Amy and TJ’s Podcast.”
She revealed that she preferred a simple and intimate celebration, saying with a laugh: “A little thing. Justice of the peace. Vegas.”
“Is there a justice of the peace in Vegas? I thought only Elvis did that…that’s where you want to get,” Holmes joked to her in response.

Robach went on to describe her ideal ceremony as a private, romantic getaway, adding, “I really want it to be a very intimate gathering. And I would definitely run away and run away somewhere. I think maybe, if I had to choose, I would choose to run away and go to Fiji or somewhere really nice and far away.”
