A frank leaflet for Reddit by 35 Indian women has struck an online nerve, easily highlighting urban fatigue, disappointment, and searching for a quieter and cleaner life abroad. This post sparked a wave of responses in the famous Subreddit that focuses on India.

A doctorate -holding woman in a harmonious field from the old IIT and a master’s degree from an American university of the best 30 years was a role in the teaching staff at an Indian private university. Despite her academic success, she writes about her exhaustion through “filth, pollution, traffic, chaos, corruption and blatant ignorance of the rules and the quality of life in general.”

“I just want a stable and peaceful life,” she writes, explaining that her motives are not ambition or financial gains, but mental and physical luxury. With the absence of family obligations and institutions of 3.5 rupees (except for real estate), they weigh two options:

• Go out now to enjoy its main years in a more organized society and return to old age.
• Stay in India for a few years, retire in the mid -1940s, then moved for the slower pace of life.

She is aware of the difficulty of re -introducing academic circles abroad, given its network based on network and competitiveness, but it is open to Edtech roles or its administrative roles where it is already enjoyed by experience.

Its favorite destinations fall within 5-6 hours of India-avoiding typical immigration magnets such as American or United Kingdom standards: hygiene, safety and law. Night life and urban tinnitus does not appear in its priorities.

The post has sparked a wide range of responses, as users offer both practical suggestions and philosophical reflections based on their deportations.

Others urged caution, noting that migration comes with its own complexities. Another user wrote: “The transition to the outside addresses the problems I mentioned – pollution, corruption and chaos – but it brings his set of challenges.” “Integration can be difficult. There is a constant feeling that you are a strange person, food issues, and a feeling of loneliness … after 15-20 years abroad, you may face a new dilemma: it may mean that return to the homeland face the same old issues, in addition to the additional challenge of rebuilding a social life from scratch.”
