Officials said Russia had widespread strikes on drones and missiles on the capital of Ukraine and other parts of the country on Friday.
At least three people were killed and 49 were injured in strikes, according to Ukraine President Voludmir Zelinski.
The air strikes targeted Kyiv, as well as the city of Lutsk and the Turnoville area in the northwest of the country.
The attack came after Russian President Vladimir Putin US President Donald Trump warned He was responding to Ukraine’s recent strikes on Russian bouquets.

In Lutsk, five people were injured in an attack using 15 drones and six missiles, according to IHor Polishchuk.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that its air defenses shot down 174 Ukrainian drones overnight in parts of Russia and occupied the Crimea.

Russia’s recent attack on Ukraine comes days after Kyiv launched the largest long -range drone strike at at least 40 Russian warplanes in four military bases.
