Three countries from West Africa to resign the United Nations Supreme Court

Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger announced that it would immediately withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC), and described it as a “tool for the new colonial repression.”

The three countries led by the military issued a joint statement, saying that they will not recognize the authority of the United Nations Supreme Court, based in The Hague.

The three leaders said: “The International Criminal Court has proven that it is unable to deal with war crimes that have proven its usefulness, crimes against humanity, genocide and aggression crimes.”
