Thousands who wear a red, white and blue flock to the field before Charlie Kerk, a funeral in Arizona

My name is Mark Golum and I am a great reporter at CBC News. I am inside the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, covering Charlie Kerk memorial service.

People began gathering on the streets around the stadium late on Saturday evening. By about 2 am, thousands were already in huge lines wrapped around the sidewalks, at different entrances to the field.

Some lines appeared more organized, such as the line wrapped along the parking lot. But others have become an unorganized chaos, as many do not know where the line started or ended.

The police traveled along the medium street with people to get out of the street, but they were mostly ignored. Many complained about the lack of organization, and people ignoring the line, instead only heading to the foreground.

At some point, the crushing of people agreed on the gate, with a few organizers who begged back, and that they were crushing people at the front of the gate. The crowd stopped from the batch.
