Thousands under the evacuation order, while wildfires north of Los Angeles spread

The brush fire was set in a mountainous area north of Los Angeles and spread quickly on Thursday, forcing thousands of evacuation.

Canyon’s fire caught at around 1:30 pm local time, as it grows to more than six square kilometers in five hours, according to the response to emergency situations in Vinterora Province. The province said it was not possible late Thursday afternoon and was spreading east.

The fire is burning south of Peru Lake, a reservoir located in the Los Badris National Forest. It is close to Castaic Lake, a famous burning entertainment area Hughes fire in January. The new fire comes as a massive seas in central California, and it has become the largest fire in the state this year, threatening hundreds of homes and burning out of control in the Los Badris National Forest.
