A social media user recently wrote in the Reddit publication that she was confused during an interview with the role of a marketing specialist. The user said that the first two rounds were great and all expected questions were asked.

However, the development of the story came when the agency’s creative director asked the user’s questions related to their political tendencies.

The user wrote on Redait: “But in the final interview with the creative director, things became strange. We were talking about social media campaigns, and suddenly goes:“ So what is your position on all the recent political things that happen? We need to make sure that our team is in line with the messages. “

The user also said that she tried to redirect the conversation to something less embarrassing by trying to highlight the points specified for this role. Redditor commented that despite her efforts, the creative director insisted and began asking about specific political figures instead.

“I was in marketing for 6 years, and this was definitely new. I kept a professional and said that I believe in following the summons of campaigns and customer instructions, but the whole atmosphere turned after that. It seemed disappointed and will not give him a direct political answer.”

The user also said that they sent a message of thanks to you, but they have not yet heard from the company. The post left the colleagues applicable by some of them as sympathizing with the experience of the original poster.

However, other users said that these questions aim to assess whether the candidate will fit the company’s culture or not.

User commented: “It depends on the company, and this may be a source of anxiety, but drafting this question in this way is somewhat strange. If it is not explicit, it is a problem. If you are working on a black gun coffee versus Ben & Jerry or something that is likely to be important. Correspondence?”

Another user wrote: “I once applied for a job manager of a construction company and asked me to conduct the interview about my views of the miscarriage. I finished there. ”

A third user weighed: “It is completely legal, but it is a terrible idea. He escaped from a huge bullet here, and honestly gave the ideal answer to this question. They do not deserve you.”

We had a recently recent traditional presentation.
