Who says that the robot vacuum cannot be a piece of statement? While he may not have recognition of a name Roba Or Roborock, Dreame quietly making some of the best emptiness/robot (and the most attractive) over the past few years, and its new pioneering model – X50 ultra-All the features you expect from a unit from the top of the line (at a matching price). It was better in some of my most difficult tests than any other robots so far, but also hit some obstacles along the way.

For beginners, X50 Ultra is very similar to all the high -end Robovac in the market today. Seriously, it looks like a lot Roborook Saros 10I think it’s the same void with different signs. It even contains the same Lidar Retracting Tower, which also makes me wonder if these are all made in the same factory. This slope aside, the emptiness station looks elegant and modern. I was calling it the most attractive that I have experienced so far, which is good because it is at 13.4 x 18 x 23 inches, it will be somewhat prominent in your home. The pavement can wash the vacuum cleansing platforms with Fahrenheit water 176 degrees, which is good to kill bacteria. Water tanks (one for hygiene and the other to copy) are massive, and for the three weeks of the test, I have never had to change them. It also comes with a previously eliminated vacuum bag and a small tank of floors cleaning solution.

If you manage the price stomach, the Dream X50 Ultra deals with emptiness and encouragement like a hero.

Positives

  • Excellent vacuum strength

  • The brush system easily absorbs hair and cutting large food

  • Silence approximation

  • A good -looking pavement

cons

  • Struggle to clean on the edges of the rooms and furniture

  • Slower than others

  • beloved

Under the vacuum, you will find a dual dual cylinder brushes (again, unreasonably similar to the brush system in many Roborock models), and can be absorbed by large 20,000 PA, which puts it there with the strongest competitors. The X50 Ultra also contains dual MOP platforms, one of which can extend away from the body to clean the walls; MP platforms can be separated and staying at the base during vacuum missions only. There is also a sweeping arm with three brushes that can stretch out to help bring the debris to the void course. The robot is characterized by the Lidar Tower (which declines when moving to low furniture) as well as extending in the forefront for transportation.

X50 Ultra setting is clear and direct – you largely fill the clean water tank, install the cleaner bottle, and connect it. Then you can control everything using an accompanying application, which first requires wiping the fast response icon under the robot cover, installing any updates for fixed programs, then your home is set. The initial examination of my apartment was very fast. The X50 Ultra did not drive everywhere, so I was worried about losing some areas, but it was able to calculate each square foot. You will have to spend a few minutes to name the rooms and liberate the lines separating them, but this is equal to the course with Robovacs.

For the first clean, I just chose to put Cleangenius, its default and most “smart” position. I suggested that I start with deep primary hygiene, which I thought was a nice touch, but it did not fully impress my gates. For beginners, X50 Ultra chose an ineffective way to clean my apartment, starting from my kitchen (good) and then driving the way to the bedroom, and skipping many areas between them. Then I went to the living room, and so on. Inside the room, it seemed that the X50 Ultra was wasting a lot of movement only from looking around, spinning in circles, and waging in general. The pattern that I made on my carpet was just random. It took 80 minutes the entire void, which was 11 minutes’ longest from the slowest vacuum that I tested ( Roborook Saros Z70), Even on their deepest conditions. While X50 Ultra succeeded in my one -bedroom apartment at the maximum energy, the battery decreased by 30 % at the end. This means in a larger house that you may have to stop and recharge mid -cleaning before it continues (or you can reduce the lipstick).

X50 Ultra also missed a good amount of first -term dirt. I was surprised by the number of small bits and pieces that were still scattered around the kitchen and the corridor, so after drying the ground, I sent the robot to those areas, but this time on Max+ Vacuum Power. Robovac is much higher in this situation, but it managed to absorb everything in the middle of the rooms. Unfortunately, cleaning the edge was a serious disappointment. Even with an extended sweeping arm, he missed a lot of things near the walls.

ROBOVAC’s DEREME does a very good job in disinfection, and she was able to clean three ketchup stains at different stages of drying as well as some homogeneous fat on my ground. Unfortunately, again, struggle to clean the edges. Some juice was leaked on the ground next to the pelvis (a common place for liquid accidents), and the spot was mainly aligned with the edge of a hanging wardrobe. Somehow did not reach the spill at all, although it was accessible to the extension MP pillow. I will say, though, that the cleansing work is calm. Some scanners on Roborook Robots scream like Banshees. X50 Ultra was easily calm in Robovac that you tested.

In general, the identification of the object on the X50 Ultra is strong. The UsB Orange Corporation carefully avoided solid wood, escapes from a white wire on a white rug. The discovery of organisms is always perfect-one time in one of the black cord on the white carpet (which you think will be the easiest to see), and has been forced to convert the robot and free it from the vacuum brush (a very easy relationship, less than the tools). X50 Ultra managed to avoid things like socks and slippers, and often properly described it on the map when he saw it. Dreame claims that X50 Ultra can determine more than 200 objects, and you can set them to photograph them automatically if you want it for some reason.

For the most difficult test, the glove of a notorious snack was thrown, consisting of golden crackers, pumpkin seeds, pistachio shells, some scattered oats, pieces of oregano around the edges of the walls, distributing them to both solid wood and medium -giving carpets. It is often good news here. X50 Ultra was better than any other Robovac that you tested in the areas it reached. Almost all robots struggle with pistachio shells and tend to strangle them. This robot did not hit an eye, occupy them without effort and calm. It also did not crush or wander around any of the gold or seeds, a common problem. X50 Ultra even got some oats under my TV cabinet – something I did not achieve other Robovac that I tested. The performance of the vacuum brush system and spinning was incredibly good here.

X50 Ultra still suffers from the above edge issues. Cleaning along the walls was intermittent (dried oregano used so that I could see the places that you missed clearly). Robovac was also inconsistent with the corners, as he always left at least a little debris (sometimes more). If a piece of food is an inch distance or so from some furniture or wall, it is completely too late. A few shells were placed under the cabinet (which you can get), and the robot also lost. It is especially frustrated because X50 Ultra was better than any other void on the open floor.

There are some other excellent features that are worth the aforementioned. For beginners, X50 Ultra can cellar itself on sills up to 1.65 inches, which is the largest climbing of any Robovac in the market, and it does it with smart legs that somewhat extend over things. It is a great view, and I have worked well. X50 Ultra also contains sound orders that have been created directly in it, so while you can associate them with Google Home, Apple Home or Alexa, you don’t have to do this, and you can give them very specific orders (for example, “bedroom vacuum”, “MP The Kitchen”, etc.) – and it will jump.

I also like that X50 Ultra leaves the MP platforms on the sidewalk when you don’t need them, which should help keep your carpet more dry. Even if you do both at one time, Robovac will raise the full MP platforms 10.5 mm (0.4 inches), which should be sufficient to keep them higher than most of the carpets (unpleasant). It can also reduce the Lidar mast, which causes the robot about 3.5 inches long. In general, the Dreame’s Companion app is strong, and although it does not contain a lot of Polish such as Roborock applications, it actually provides all functions you can want, including remote control in POV video, taking pictures of your pets, beautiful granular adjustments for all features, such as the amount of water you should use, and how the demo arm should be , Etc., etc.

In the end, X50 Ultra is a very good robot/MP. Although he is slower than I love, the real thing that prevents him from being great with capital is his weak performance around the edges, angles and furniture. I will say, however, it seems to be restrictions on the program instead of devices, which gives me some hope that this will be addressed in future fixed programs. But now, for robot voids currently sells between $ 1,400 and $ 1,700, I expect that I will not have to empty/cleanse any edges manually after their main cleaning.
