Sherrill Edi, IO9: Sweet revenge The forty -fifth anniversary of the concession celebrates and brings the New Jason’s universe initiative to the forefront. Have you got many guidelines, observations, or things to do? How was the process?

Mike B. Nelson: I think this is what was very exciting to work with Sherry (Kun), Robert (Parsamian) and Ruby (Barzamian); R.Hello, they were really open to hear a new taking. Certainly, there are always small things, especially with a large IP like this, we want to check some things. But they were open to a new taking and to a little new development. As long as we were able to repeat Jason fierce as it was always, doing Jason things, this was the big thing.

Of course, it was great that it was no less important to them as was the case in reality, like 13 minutes, try to tell an interesting story and not only, “Let’s kill Jasson as possible as possible.” I will not say that people will not like it, but I have a feeling that it will become a little tired after a while. Always my logo: it’s the heart. The heart is what makes horror great. This was an important aspect: telling a story that had some heart and presenting a personality in which people fell in love with them and learn about a shift.

IO9: If you pay close attention to early, you will see some clues that this is not typical Friday 13th story. We have Eve called “the power of nature” which “did not escape.” “Some people find a person, and sometimes the person finds you.” Eve takes a bite of apples. Knowing that the film will be very short and that the fans will see it more than once, have you ever pepper in the things that people will only pick up the second time?

Nelson: A thousand percent, which makes me very happy because you literally said all the right moments. I am like, “I hope people pick up all these little things that I think are important in the story.” I told them all and this makes me very happy.

IO9: Eve underwater for a long time before it appears. Do we assume that she died in Lake Crystal and then was born with Jason -like forces?

Nelson: To some extent, yes. When I reached this concept, the idea was that I did not care about seeing how Jason (subjected) his transformation. I love we are still keeping this mystery. There are always plots about what happened to him. Is it alive? Is it dead? Is it really drowned? Wasn’t it drowning? I think all this is great. Now, in my view, I see Jason: Is it an act He drowned, returned because there is nothing more powerful than the story of return to revenge.

For me, it is a very similar story with Eve. Eve allowed me to explore how it could decrease for Jason. Each character is different, but the ability to see what Eve is going through was this kind of fun horror in the body – not to understand what is happening completely, and why I feel this way, and why I look this way, then realize that there is something to repeat it. I mean, see, it gives a sickle. It will not return from that unless there is something else. So I think keep it – yes, there is ambiguity, which all Jason’s films had again, which I think is really important. But I also feel a desire to get this wink and gesture, “Have you faced the same thing Jason did?” Certainly there.

IO9: An ally, what do you think when you heard about this project?

Ioannides ally: I was shocked, frankly, when Chad (Velilla) called me, the product, and told me that. He asks him to be a last girl in Friday 13th The movie is very creative. I am still like, frankly, I can’t believe it.

I went back and watched the first four and just tried to take everything and understand what is good in that and what people expect from him, because it is clear that it is a creative privilege and people feel privacy towards him … I wanted to make sure that I was doing everything in my efforts to give people the same feeling.

Nelson: It was an ally of me a person we could offer as an Eve as a person who was almost the opposite of Jason. It is in pink embossed, and it is almost similar to a mixture of Annie and Tina from (FridayPart 1 and the seventh part. It is soft soft … but then the crazy shit occurs.

Jason is great, and he has this mass for him, this is the power of nature. Eve does not coincide with this way. We were told that she is, but she does not coincide with this way until she finally realized, “Oh, she He is! Thus, you see this other side of the spectrum, then you see Jacon.

IO9: How did you throw your Jason Faris? What kind of trend did you provide to form this performance?

Nelson: It is Shueller White, and he is actually a trick coordinator. I worked with him in the films of a couple before that, so I had a good relationship … he is 6’5, he loves terror, and he excels in terror and understands terror. He is a great fan. He is the sweetest man in the world, who does not necessarily lend himself to Jason on the surface. But I believe that working with someone understands and has a pure love for that character, loved him and watched him throughout his life, and he brought him to him and also this type of wink and gesture of what Jason was, especially in those first four films, was huge. And brought it. It was immediate.

We did not want to do Jason. We wanted to make sure that Jason would get you regardless of speed. It is not in any rush. The joke on the group was almost an art of what Jason did in some things in palaces, such as his painting on the washing rope and the fact that he grabbed the apple piece. Not only grab the kitchen knife for a handful of holes in this woman on a table. He holds Apple-SACER … There is something that happens there to see certain things that happen while people suffer from pain while killing his victims, which I think was an enjoyable wink and gesture to how he dealt with his victims in the past. Shueller brought her and was happy to work with him. He only understood the job and completed it in the best possible way.

IO9: This is the final horror fan dream that you should live, and make a Friday 13th Film and planning outside Jason Hyaj. First, Eve discovered all these bodies, and I like, when will they appear to him, they will actively kill people? Then, of course we reach that. How did you plan all of this?

Nelson: On the field, it wasn’t that, “Let’s see only the number of people that Jason can go out for 13 minutes.” It was more than that, Eve passes what she was going through, and then (almost similar) to the crime scenes, like all these effects, because this was always fun in Friday 13th films. The dead bodies came across, and sometimes you did not even see the killings that occur on the screen … which were always stuck in watching these films, and so this was a kind of “What if (Eve only) reached the cabin after it came out of the lake, she had to pass through his manual work?”

Building this excitement, to your point of view, “Oh my God, when will we see it?” Getting what he did throughout the movie – and that for me was fun. This was an exciting thing. After that, of course, when you see it for the first time, then the absolute slaughter festival in the cabin, this is our great climax, do you know what I mean? Jason the Great Scene, where he goes to Medina, does not retreat. We return it with its full power.

IO9: The palace has a suggestive but open end. What do you think happens after that?

iOannides: I love the idea that there is a kind of kinship, a kind of knowledge. I think it’s more interesting than just a fight. But who knows? I mean … suggestion?

IO9: She already has the ring!

Nelson: I would like to agree with an ally. I think it defines this idea, what does Jason do when he realizes that there is another person like him? What is this response? Is the response at the beginning, like, “I will kill you because I do not understand?” Is it, “Well, you are like me, maybe I need to accommodate”? There was always this kind of ideas, did you not want Eve (with Jason) and Jason continues to follow it? Or is it the opposite?

I think there is a lot of fun in a story like this because it does not destroy myths when Friday 13th Movies are, because you still have Jason, you still have his past, you know where to come from. He is crazy because his mother was killed and he died because of an accident because people did not pay attention. You still have all that. (This) Never rewrite anything. But what happens when another person goes through a similar transformation of him and he must deal with this type of body terror – then what happens after that?

These are the questions that are fun to play. Frankly, I love the idea that it falls within the fans and viewers after that, so that they can start talking about it. I think this is one of the most exciting things. Yes, I have my own thoughts and what I like to do after the truth and how it can end. But where does the viewer’s mind take after that? This, for me, I think where things are really exciting: where can this go?
