The small triangular gun exerts a tremendous amount of force for the size of a portable massage gun, but its shape makes it difficult to hold comfortably. Furthermore, the Therabody does not offer multiple head attachments; It only includes the ball head. Other massage guns here come with at least two — if not four or even six — for a lower price.

Even at its lowest of three speeds, the Mini feels more powerful than a lot of other budget massage gun options I’ve tried. In fact, anyone looking for a light, relaxing massage may find it too strong.
