The Xbox Elite Series 2 Core console is on sale for $98

If you’re in the market for a new console, you’re in luck. Microsoft’s Xbox Elite Series 2 Basic Controller Offered for sale for $98 at Amazon and goaldown from $130. This means it’s about $3 off its lowest price so far, and it’s a great opportunity to upgrade to something a little better.

We have recommended Xbox Elite Series 2 Core console before, and this is mainly based on its ability to give you the best of $180 Xbox Elite Series 2 More friendly price control. This includes fit and finishes such as a rubberized grip and sturdier, longer-lasting versions of the traditional controller’s triggers, joystick, and directional pad (now circular). Moreover, it has a battery life of up to 40 hours.

The Elite Series 2 Core also lets you adjust the tension of the controllers and triggers to your liking, and remap the controller buttons in the Xbox Accessories app. This is useful if there are specific settings you prefer Call of Duty: Warzone Versus something more comfortable, e.g fifa pinata, Or if you share your console with someone else.

The main drawback of the Xbox Elite Series 2 Core Controller, besides the limited color options that I purchased from anywhere other than the Xbox Design Lab, is the lack of accessories. The price of the regular Xbox Elite Series 2 controller includes a variety of different joysticks, directional pads, and back paddles that you can attach when you want to try a new setup. It is not included at all with the base console. In fact, there are weird holes in the back of the controller where the paddles are supposed to be mounted.

It’s a minor annoyance in the grand scheme of things, and can be rectified by purchasing accessories when you discover you actually need them in the future. Even without the paddles, the Xbox Elite Series 2 Core Controller should be noticeably more fun to use, and when you’re trying to make your way through a very long RPG, that’s what really matters anyway.
