“The worst is not yet,” as the former approaches from Australia

Hundreds of thousands of homes are powerless, as the storm brings the Alfred strong winds and heavy rains to the eastern Australian coast.

Initially called Cyclone Alfred, the weather front was reduced to a tropical decrease with winds of up to 85 km/h, less powerful than the first expected.
