Stephen Miller, White House Deputy Chief of Staff, told reporters on Friday that the United States constitution allowed the suspension of legal freedom in times of “rebellion or invasion”.
His comments come at a time when the judges sought to challenge some of the recent arrests conducted by the Trump administration in an attempt to combat illegal immigration, as well as removing opposition foreign students.
Miller said: “A lot of this depends on whether or not the courts are doing the right thing,” Miller said.
