Some people who were killed during an earthquake in Afghanistan had to be buried on a mountainous top, because it was very difficult to cross the terrain and drop their bodies, and the BBC was told.

More than 800 people died in the 6.0 -sized earthquake in East Afghanistan, which was followed by an earthquake of 5.2 magnitude the next day.

Yama Bariz traveled from the BBC to the Divajol Valley to see the destruction and talk to the locals about their experience.
