US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the United States carried out a military strike in the southern Caribbean region against what he said was a drug ship run by the Trin de Aragua gang that left from Venezuela.

“The strike occurred while the terrorists at sea in international waters were transporting illegal drugs, heading to the United States,” Trump said in publishing. “No American forces have been damaged in this strike. Please leave this as a notice of anyone in order to consider bringing drugs to the United States of America.”

The video appears to appear a highly engines boat traveling at sea when a bright flash of light explodes over the craft. Then the boat is seen shortly covered with fire.
The video, which is largely black and white, was not clear enough to see if the craft carries up to 11 people or if there are any medications inside the boat.

The Trump administration had blamed the gang before
Tren De Aragua grew up more than a decade ago in a prison -controlled prison in the central state of Aragwa, Venezuela.

Trump and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio first announced the strike earlier on Tuesday, shortly before Rubio’s departure on a trip to Mexico and Ecuador for talks on drugs, security, tariffs and more.
In a short exchange with correspondents before Miami left Mexico City, Rubio was postponed questions about the details of the strike to the Pentagon. He said that the drug on the bowl is likely to go to Trinidad or anywhere else in the Caribbean.
For years, Rubio spoke against Maduro and other Latin American governments and supporting opposition leaders. In 2018, during the first period of Trump, Rubio told that there is a “strong argument” that is offered to use the US military in Venezuela. When asked if Trump would carry out operations on Venezuelan soil, Rubio was transparent. “We will face drug gangs wherever and wherever they are working against the interests of the United States,” he said.
