The US Football Association owners unanimously agree to the player’s participation in 2028

The US Football Association owners unanimously agreed to allow players to participate in Flag Football in the 2028 Olympics.

The vote in the spring meetings on Tuesday, the periodical to negotiate safety provisions and scheduling logistics with the American Football Association and international and national bodies related to the relevant before becoming a reality during the summer games in Los Angeles.

More than one player will not be allowed for each NFL club. The Olympic menus will be chosen by the National Committee for each country.

“It is an incredible honor for any athlete representing their country in the Olympic Games, which is the World Sports Summit,” said US Football Association Commissioner Roger Godel.

“I know directly that the Flag Football Insert in the Olympic Games has sparked a huge amount of excitement among the American Football Association players interested in the opportunity to compete for their country on the world stage. We are happy that they now have this opportunity.”

Under the proposed agreement, six teams of men and six women’s teams consisting of 10 players will compete for Los Angeles. The participation of the American Football Association player, which represents the football team in the national flag, will begin with a trial or qualified process before the Olympic competition.

“The players have expressed a great desire to honor the competition in the Olympic Games, and we are excited that our members will be able to represent their country on the highest international theater,” said Lloyd Huil Junior, CEO of the American Football Association Association.

“We look forward to working with the league, IFAF and the Olympic authorities on the conditions of their participation to ensure that the players who compete will do this by protecting their health, safety and jobs.”

Summer 2028 games are scheduled to take place from 14 to 30 July 2028. The American Football Association players in general from mid -June to the beginning of the training camp in late July.
